Meet the AI Hype Circle — it rhymes with work

You may have heard of the AI money circle, but there's another circle I've been noticing: the Hype Circle.

🔄 Hype Lords declare AI the solution to all of humanity's problems

🔄 "Tech leaders" (ironically, just obediently following the Hype Lords) race to agree and declare their fantastical AI expectations

🔄 Hype Lords point to sycophants regurgitating their own talking points as proof of the inevitability of AI world domination

There is a colloquial circle term that aptly describes this mechanism, but I'll keep things polite and just allude that it rhymes with work. As a marketing tactic, it works well for people who fall for the logical fallacy of an appeal to authority. Don't be one of those people.

She specializes in the hard problems: unique operational workflows, cross-system integrations, and the kind of compliance requirements (HIPAA, CCPA, SOC 2) that most developers treat as someone else's job.

At Codality, she leads every principal engagement from discovery through delivery — because she's seen what happens when that thread gets cut.
