TIL that Hubspot uses Email as a unique identifier and that kicked off a whole new surprise data clean up project.
Moving (or even more so, syncing) massive amounts of data is never as simple as people seem to assume. I was probably that naive once, I really don't recall. I know what I'm in for in a system migration, and this is par for the course.
