Prompting Replit directly against production is no less fantastical thinking than looking to Santa Claus to run your supply chain.
I keep seeing takes about how that Replit production database deletion demonstrates the dangers of AI. How about the danger of adults believing in fairy tales?
Anyone pointing an AI coding tool at a production environment isn't qualified to have administrative access to that system. Doubly irresponsible doing so using a vibe-code-kiddy tool like Replit.
Snake oil salesmen told us these things are actually intelligent and people are just charging ahead and treating them like infallible employees.
