The consultant reselling my team's work as their own platform
I just discovered a consultant marketing a “platform” they built with a client as their own product to sell. 😠 The description of the "platform" brags about the performance of the API, security layer and backend that they did not build (my team did).
Be careful who you work with, folks. A shady consultant will try to resell the competitive advantage you paid them to create as their own. The more competent firms know better than to advertise it publicly. 🙄
As for Codality, our contract licenses what we build exclusively to our clients, but more importantly... we'd just feel icky doing that.
