Why I won't be cheerleading AgentForce

Given what I know about Salesforce’s propensity to nickel-and-dime 🪙 (TF) out of their customers and their equally strong propensity for solutions with rigidity baked into the use cases... do I really want to make AgentForce (dDownYourThroat) an explicit offering of Codality?
No, I don’t. I keep coming back to it.
I’ve mentioned before that I’d love to proactively shift my recently Salesforce-leaning reputation by helping frustrated customers escape Salesforce, or at least shed some of those pricey SKUs (I hate it when they say “SKU”). I’ve also seen my long-term path with generative AI heading toward local S/LLMs.
So, as is now a recurring theme for me, I won’t be cheerleading AgentForce. Don't get me wrong, I’m not ruling out implementing it; if anyone can build a solid framework on which to build agents, it’s my co-founders and I. But I will weigh out the alternatives with any client looking for agentic solutions.
That's where my value lies. Helping my clients ascertain the best solution for them, not being an unpaid salesperson for a multi-billion dollar 🤑 company.

Jessie has spent 20+ years architecting and delivering software for organizations where complexity is the norm — financial services, insurance, nonprofits, and regulated industries where getting it wrong isn't an option. She specializes in the hard problems: unique operational workflows, cross-system integrations, and the kind of compliance requirements (HIPAA, CCPA, SOC 2) that most developers treat as someone else's job.
At Codality, she leads every principal engagement from discovery through delivery — because she's seen what happens when that thread gets cut.
